This is an amazing prize If you are selected as the winner of the 2004 Altran Engineering Academy Award, you will be offered the opportunity to become an integral part of the renowned scientific and engineering team based at Renault F1 Team HQ at Enstone in Oxfordshire. This is no small thing. You will be given a job working on the continuing development of the R24 car, with the full support of your own special Altran mentor, as a fully functioning member of the Renault F1 Team. Your work will help determine the performance of the car on the track. The placement will start in September 2004 and will run through to the 2004 season's climax and conclude with the launch of the new car in March 2005. And, in addition, you will be granted a six month salary worth £6,500.00, together with the free use of a nearby apartment and your own company car for the duration. The candidate coming in second place will be given an exclusive tour of the Renault factory and third prize is a goody bag of Renault F1 kit.
